Vivo a Chinese mobile brand, has  entered  into the Nepali smartphone market

Vivo, a Chinese mobile brand, has  entered  into the Nepali smartphone market. It has many good devices with amazing hardware at the mid-budget price range.

Vivo is a Chinese technology company that designs, develops, and manufactures smartphones, smartphone accessories, software, and online services. Founded in Guangdong, China in 2009.

The company has its own software developed: Vivo App Store, iManager, and Android-based OS Funtouch OS. Vivo joined the ranks of the top 10 smartphone makers in the first quarter of 2015 with a global market share of 2.7%.

However in India the No. 3 spot has seen a change, with Vivo climbing 2 spots for the position. The company’s total shipments grew by 36% (sequentially) during the quarter, as per Canalys Research. The company nearly sold 3 million units in Q1 2017, up from 2.1 million in the past quarter. “Its ability to drive sales by investing in marketing campaigns has seen it displace local vendors that once thrived in this space,” said Mo Jia, Research Analyst.

Since Vivo was launched last month in Nepal its still to early to say how it will catch the market and attract consumer. The market in Nepal in quite small as compared to India as well other already many brands in market.
